I am thrilled to be a part of the GI Research Foundation team as the Development and Operations Assistant. Working for an organization that helps fund cutting-edge research and treatments for those with G.I. diseases is very personal for me. My sister had cancer when she was 4 years old. Because of the chemotherapy and radiation, she has suffered from GI issues and diseases for several decades. And we have watched being able to do very little to help ease her suffering. Knowing the work the GI Research Foundation has funded and supported makes me hopeful for the future of my sister’s health and others with digestive diseases.

My background is in real estate management but for the past seven years, I have been working in the nonprofit sector in operations and development. I absolutely love being able to give back to communities and organizations I believe in.
