On Friday, May 24, The U.S. House of Representatives introduced H.R. 8542 calling on Congress to award a Congressional Gold Medal to Dr. Joseph B. Kirsner, in recognition of his service to the United States during World War II and his contributions to the medical field, particularly gastroenterology. You can help secure this award for Dr. Kirsner by calling your representative.
